Raised in a litter of two, he got plenty of attention from his adoring mum (dog one and me) and is still very close to her. Lacking a little in confidence, he's slowly learning that shows are FUN with plenty of FOOD. Magic words for a pup. He's a real softy; he loves to lean against you as you stroke his head, and would be quite happy for you to do that all day. His best mate is Blaze the Finnish Lapphund and when those two boys get together, its get out of the way and watch them run and play and destruct and destroy! He's a lovely example of the breed, with beautiful confirmation, gorgeous movement, correct tail set, thick correct coat and the darkest brown eyes I have bred. Winner of Baby Puppy Dog Class at the recent 2002 AMCV Championship show and Opposite Sex in Show under Judge Mr Erich Singer. Riva has also picked up a few Dog Challenges and Best of Breed wins, gaining points towards his Australian Championship title. Riva is now having 12 months off while his human mum becomes a mother herself.
