After a year long search, I found Viksalan Kennels who breed "typy", healthy, certified Lapphunds. After placing my order, I waited for Salla to get pregnant and whelp and she produced two beautiful girls that I had the choice of. If I could have afforded it, I would have bought both as they were both beautiful! Finally after agonising over photo's, I chose Viksalan Jiella. Macey is a stunning girl with beautiful confirmation, correct coat and a very dark attractive face. When Macey moves, she floats across the ground. Macey also has the rare Goggles highlighting her soft brown eyes. 25TH OCTOBER 2003 Macey has finally arrived in Australia !!! She hit our shores on the 23rd of October, and I'm expecting to bring her home on the 22nd of November. I visited with Macey the day after she arrived and she is an absolute delight. From her pictures I thought she must have the same cheeky attitude that Blaze has and I was sure right. Macey although a little overwhelmed by her trip and new environment took only a few minutes to become my new best friend, jumping on me, chucking spastics (AKA running around madly) and begging me for food. I cant wait to bring her home to meet Blaze as I'm sure the two of them are going to run riot through my house and kennels together! Macey in quarantine with me 20 March 2004. Well Macey has been home with me for a few months now and already has made her presence felt in the show ring. Recently myself and the Lapphunds went up to the Canberra Royal Show and my little Macey took out the bitch Challenge award and then went onto taking out Runner up best of breed. Macey adores the show ring and really comes together when showing. Only a week later in March, Macey took out her first Best Junior in Group 5 award. Macey has certainly settled well into Australian living and is thriving. 2005 Macey had allot of Maternal duties this year, producing her first litter with Blaze on the 28th of April 2005 giving me 5 lovely boys and 1 special girl. Not wanting to hold back on her next season, Macey and Blaze took the decision out of my hands and decided they wanted another litter, so Macey produced her second litter on the 26th October 2005, giving me a whopping 7 bouncing boys.
